Building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.

Building a Stronger Community:
The Field House & Child Care Center Project
A Vision for Healthy Families and a Connected Community
Building a field house with an integrated child care center is a transformative opportunity for our community. This project combines recreation, education, and family support in one inclusive, accessible space — addressing real needs while building a healthier, more connected future for everyone.
1. Strengthening Families and Supporting Working Parents
Reliable child care is one of the greatest challenges facing families today. A dedicated child care center within the field house directly supports working parents, allowing them to balance jobs, education, and family life.
-
The child care center will be larger than our current location allowing us to save the 53 current child care slots that need to be relocated as well as opening additional spots to meet the needs of our community.
-
This convenience promotes both physical and mental well-being for parents.
-
It also supports local employers by reducing absenteeism and helping retain working parents in the labor force.
2. Promoting Health and Wellness for All Ages
The field house will provide a year-round, climate-controlled space for physical activity and wellness programs. From youth sports and walking tracks to fitness classes and senior programs, it will encourage lifelong healthy habits.
-
Families can be active together under one roof, modeling healthy behaviors for children.
-
Accessible programs and spaces ensure everyone — regardless of age or ability — can participate and thrive.
-
Regular recreation opportunities contribute to lower rates of chronic illness and stronger mental health in the community.
3. Investing in Early Childhood Development
The child care center is more than a convenience — it’s an investment in our community’s future.
High-quality early education gives children the strong foundation they need for lifelong learning, social skills, and success in school.
-
Co-locating the child care center within the field house allows for unique opportunities for play-based learning, physical development, and community engagement.
-
This integration fosters healthy habits and social interaction from the earliest years.
4. Creating a True Community Hub
The combined facility will be a vibrant gathering place — a space that brings people together for recreation, learning, and connection.
-
It will host youth sports, fitness classes, community events, and family programs.
-
By serving multiple generations, it fosters unity, pride, and belonging.
-
It will stand as a visible symbol of what’s possible when a community invests in itself.
5. Fueling Economic and Social Growth
The benefits of this project extend far beyond its walls.
-
Construction and ongoing operations create local jobs and stimulate nearby businesses.
-
The facility will attract visitors for tournaments and events, supporting local restaurants, hotels, and shops.
-
Families are more likely to move to — and stay in — a community that offers strong recreational and child care resources.
6. A Legacy of Hope and Opportunity
Donors have a rare opportunity to create lasting change.
Your contribution to the Field House and Child Care Center Project will not only build a state-of-the-art facility — it will build stronger families, healthier residents, and a more vibrant community.
This project is a powerful statement of what we value: our children, our families, and our shared future.
Together, we can create a legacy that supports generations to come — a place where every child can grow, every family can thrive, and every community member feels they belong.
